Poppi's Quilt
Poppi's Christmas quilt. He loved my US Open volunteer hat that I gave him last year. It was red with the Olympic Club insignia and a white cross to signify the medical staff. I noticed that he wears it frequently so I made him a quilt with red crosses on it. The straight-line quilting is a first for me. Using a walking foot really helped. Hope it keeps him toasty warm while reading!
