Faithful companion

Prince is our faithful companion. My daughter rescued him from the West Valley Animal Shelter in Chatsworth, CA. When she moved closer to home, her new apartment had a "no pet" policy. Prince moved into Chez Denielle July of 2009. DH, and I fell in total love with him from day one. Prince loves to ride in the car and runs errands with me every day (except in the summer when it is much too hot for a doggie in the car). He is the master of the back yard and official greeter at the front door.
His best friend is Mickie, a Havanese, who lives with our best friends. Prince and Mickie go to the dog groomers together almost every week. We try to keep him clean because, as you can see from the photo, he sleeps with us...curled up at the top of the bed between our pillows. As my husband says "he is just the best".
